The first order from Kazakhstan has been received for 2 MMD 500 Series Sizers to be installed at a metalliferrous mining operation following a site visit to a MMD sizer installation.
The Primary and Secondary MMD Sizers are to be installed within a newly developed mine and mounted on skids, to enable easy relocation as the mine progresses. In operation the Primary Sizer will be fed by truck or front end loader supplying approximately 300TPH of ROM ore (upto 600mm) from a pre-built stockpile. Primary sized material is then delivered by means of conveyor belt straight into the Secondary Sizer, which reduces the material down to a -50mm product before being delivered for further processing.
The Sizers are currently under construction and are due to be installed later this year.
